WARRI— IMME-DIATE past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, will chair the unveiling of the design of a N30 million permanent secretariat complex to be built by the National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG.

The unveiling of the multimillion naira secretariat complex design and award ceremony scheduled for July 14 at Brownhill Event Centre, Ogunu, Warri in Delta State, is the grand-finale of the week-long NAIG 20th anniversary celebration.

According to a statement  by President of NAIG, Edema Oritsetimeyin, Secretary of the association, Eburajolo Eyitemi and Chairman of NAIG 20th Anniversary Committee, Ghereje Joshua, Nigeria’s first Finance Minister, late Chief Festus Okotie –Eboh, late Alfred Rewane will receive post-humous awards, while NFF President, Amaju Pinnick and other prominent Itsekiri sons as well as daughter such as Pa. J. O. S. Ayomike, Godwin Ebosa and Chief Rita Lori-Ogbebor will be given legendary as well as awards of excellence.

The statement noted that while distinguished Iwere sons such as renowned academic, Dr. Jackson Ireyefoju, seasoned engineer in the oil and gas industry, Engr. Victor Wood and Segun Manuel will deliver keynote lectures, National and state Assembly legislators, members of Delta State Executive Council of Itsekiri extraction, founders and former Presidents of NAIG as well as captains of industry are expected to grace the event.
